2018 IIHS Top Safety Pick Awards for Toyota

Toyota vehicles of almost all types are routinely considered among the safest in each of their respective segments in the automotive industry. Vehicle safety rating leader, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has just announced its annual list of the safest cars currently for sale right now. In total, Toyota had a mix of six different sedans, hybrids and crossover SUVs named as 2018 IIHS Top Safety Pick winners with the newly redesigned 2018 Toyota Camry being named a 2018 IIHS Top Safety Pick+. The path to taking home all of this coveted hardware started a few years ago when the automaker announced it would make its suite of active safety systems available on every vehicle it produces.
