2018 Toyota C-HR Specs, Features and Release Date
The C-HR was first shown as a concept model from Scion and now one year later Toyota reveals the all-new 2018 C-HR which will be available in spring of 2017. The C-HR is a Coupe High-Rider that features an athletic build with a stylish cabin that is tech-filled and spacious. This all-new model represents a leap forward in design, manufacturing and engineering for Toyota. The 2018 C-HR will be available in two grades, XLE and XLE Premium. Both grades are equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen display and Toyota Safety Sense P.
Key standard features for the XLE trim include a premium leather steering wheel, power fold and heated mirrors, auto-dimming rearview mirror with backup camera, electric parking brake, and dual-zone climate control.
The XLE Premium trim builds upon the XLE’s amenities and adds Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, heated front seats, power lumbar driver’s seat, auto fold, heated side mirrors with puddle lamps that project “Toyota C-HR”, fog lamps, and Smart Key with Push Button Start.
2018 C-HR Engine and Performance Specs
The 2018 C-HR is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 144 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque. The all-new continuously variable transmission utilizes redesigned pulleys to enhance acceleration and fuel economy, a new belt structure to reduce cabin noise and a world’s-first coaxial two-port oil pump system that allows for continuous oil pressure modifications in various driving conditions.
2018 C-HR Interior Design
The interior of the C-HR is designed to feature a driver-centric “MeZone”. The slightly angled dashboard and controls allow for the driver to have a clear view of the road ahead and intuitive access to instrumentation. The 7-inch touchscreen is displayed centrally atop the dash, rather than in it, to help reduce the driver’s eye movements. Customers will notice the diamond pattern influences and soft-touch materials covering surfaces throughout the interior.
The all-new 2018 Toyota C-HR will be available next spring but until then we will keep you updated on all the information we receive on the all-new model. Be sure to check out our blog to see other Toyota news posts including other all-new models and information on the new model year.
