The 2016 Toyota Tacoma received a pretty immense redesign for this year. The Toyota Tacoma has been in production for some 20 years and this year Toyota revealed the 2016 Tacoma's new updated look. The exterior of the Tacoma received bolder lines, a muscular fender, an available hood scoop and an aggressive grille which makes the 2016 Toyota Tacoma look more powerful and fierce. Toyota improved and updated the interior as well, to include a quieter drive by improving the cab-to-bed seal, adding a new front chin spoiler and having better aerodynamic performance to help you hear less wind noise.
The 4.0L V6 engine has been replaced by the 3.5L V6 which produces 42 more horsepower and is a smoother and more fuel efficient engine. When the 2016 Toyota Tacoma is equipped with the 3.5L V6 engine, it has the towing power of 6,800 pounds and a maximum payload weight of 1,440 pounds. One thing the 2016 model ditched was the 4x2 regular cab leaving the Tacoma with either the extended or crew cab option. The TRD Off-Road model receives the Crawl Control System which is an advanced system that automatically modulates the throttle and brakes on five low speed settings so you can keep your focus on navigating across difficult terrain.
